Well, I know I probably say this quite often but I'm sure by now you know its true but I'm working on some new pages. If you follow me on twitter, you've been getting the updates and snap shots of concept art and progress. If not, this is to let you guys have some more info. I doubt many of you follow me as I only have 32 followers! However, since I am not one for shameless promotion Im not going to force feed any social media on you.
If you'd like you can (
mp_casteel), if not? That's fine too. I'll try to post here a little more often so you guys can get some of the updates as well. Anyway, onto what I've been working on.
Butterfree. I'm in the concept stages of this page and working on the "encounter" in which Baobab and his team have the opportunity to document behavior. In doing research, this thing is massive! The Pokemon is 3 foot tall!! I'm in a huge debate with myself as to maintaing size (much like I did with Girafarig). If you have any feedback, let me know.
Mightyena! I havent mentioned this one before but I am currently in the process of creating this page. I have my layout for the most part and am working in the journal entry. Its only in the early stages but this will hopefully be done in a week. I am really excited about this page and am looking forward to releasing it quickly. This will also be the first time you get to hear about the Professor's rival and the antagonist of the journal/story!
Chatot. Say what?! Yes, this song bird is going to make an appearance. Concept art going, story already written.
Skrelp. The new Generation VI Pokemon might be having his own page. No encounter, just a study. Based off the leafy sea-dragon, this new addition has grab the heartstrings of my girlfriend and thus I thought I would add his own study.
Growlithe. This is a fun page. The Professor actually encounters this Pokemon during an exchange with local authorities involved in a criminal case of poaching. Concept stage sketches abound, deciding on dog breed.
There's more. So much more. I wish I could do this full time but, alas I have work. Please comment, or tweet me. I am always open for conversation and feedback. Keep sending the notes and I hope to hear from you all soon. Much love and appreciation!
