And you do an absolutely marvelous job of doing so. I remember reading expeditions so similar to these as a child and it feels exactly the same.

I love this 'field guide narrative' you've got building with these things. Incredibly well-written and believable.

That last line was particularly inventive, and as an owner of miniature freshwater fiddler crabs, I can attest that you got the crab anatomy very accurate, which is not easy to do.
Perhaps you should have said "landslide" though, rather than "avalanche"? An avalanche is specifically snow and/or ice, if I'm not mistaken. Regardless, good job.

I've just recently come to love your works here on the field guide, and I have to say, it's all very amazing!

I have heard of the 'Limpopo River' before. It was a river from one of my favorite fairy tales as a child, 'The Elephant's Child'. It made me smile to hear the name again. :3

;) Im glad you like it! I have a lot more in the works, its just deciding when and how to release them. An example is the recent berry page I just released. Its going to be interesting to see how well received/hated the page is. Here's to hoping you guys like it!! /crosses fingers.

I'm glad you made sexual dimorphisms for these guys. I think they're severely lacking in 5th gen. <.<

Really interesting - this is one of the new pokemon, right?

I always loved the old original 151 ones - but really intertesting guide you made here!

Thanks! This is one of the new Pokemon. It is a bug/rock type. And even though I don't believe there is any real difference or actual gender I made based the claw information from real crabs. ;)

it's pokemon - as soon as you try to let them look real - they won't look like normal pokemon - therefore nobody minds ^^

Can I request a pokemon for the field guide? If so, any guidelines for reports?

You are more than welcome to request any pokemon you wish. I always take into consideration all requests and there are no real guidelines per say. I can't guarantee they will get done immediately as I have a planned trek that I am making across a certain region (a region I based off South Africa) and am only making reports on Pokemon I feel would be in that zone. (As to not veer to far from a reality based idea). I will however be sailing to the region we know now as the real pokemon continent once done with this region and be starting a new expedition. ;D That was the long answer

Short answer: Yes you can make requests, no guidelines. (My next page is actually a request) so yes, I do take them ;)

:D I was attempting to write some entries in terms of giving the current pages some story but ended up designing a map and cover for the journal! Oh well, I was never much of a writer.
