on a random note, it just recently came to my knowledge that hippos are more dangerous than I originally thought... MUCH more dangerous ._.

its hard to believe tho, I thought that since they were vegetarian that they would only be dangerous enough to fend off predators, not be more dangerous than them.

Hippos dont have many predators. Sometimes a lion, but even that is rare. They really are the top of the food chain in their environment.

>w< Im glad to have be taught that Hippos are actually pretty powerful. I had no idea and always thought the lion was the top most one.

Haha, Tranquil. That is funny. Wouldn't have thought of that one but it fits now that I see it.

Interesting! Do the Tranquill clean the Hippodown from parasites and food scraps that got stuck between the teeth (like an Oxpecker or Egyptian Plower)?

In a way, this version of Hippowdon creeps me out, yet it's awesome!

;D I really like Hippowdon. Hippos in general really. So dangerous and yet oddly unassuming.

I am grouping the animals together in terms of how they associate with each other in nature. Right now the Professor is out on the plains. (Imagine the African Savannah) He will soon be making his way to a small village at which point you might...

SPOILER ALERT

You might see some Miltank, Ratticates, etc. He will even sail North to the arctic areas of the region!! Beartic, Walrein maybe?! Stay tuned you never know what's going to happen. I am going to write a story and give my NPC some background too. So people can follow along with his trek!

Also if you have any suggestions or want to see a certain poke, let me know and if it fits, you might just see it come to life. In my vision anyway!

I was debating on a classic Hippowdon pose of half submerged with mouth agape but I decided in the end this gave the same feel and still offered the realism I have been looking for.

I'm really enjoying these realistic Pokémon. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the more unusual Pokes.

Yeah, I have to decide on how I am going to go about doing that. LOL I figured I'd start with the ones people can really identify with and slowly branch out. I still have a lot of room to work with though. ;P
