I also hear that getting them from slowpoke is rather painful, even if it takes a few minutes for the Pokemon to register pain. XD (Also, I couldn't eat anything that's cute (or could possibly be a friend) so theres that too. XD)
Would absolutely love to see your artistic rendition of Gyrados v Braviary. I've been following your story for what feels like ages now, and as a long time fan I admire your work and creativity a great deal.
Nice. Was always kinda ambivalent towards the the Slowmons , (the Shellder thing always puzzled me gamewise), but Slowking in the second movie was so cool I have loved them all since. Can't wait! Always good!
I think you meant "unsuspecting Magikarp", not "unexpecting Magikarp". Also, you should probably combine the sentences "The Slaking had left the camp..." and "A loss we willingly accepted" using a comma, as the latter would work better as an independent clause. I didn't notice any other mistakes, and otherwise it's absolutely wonderful. I especially like the last sentences; it makes it easier to identify with the explorers as people, and the Slowpoke Tails was a nice touch. The picture itself is beautiful and fascinating, though I wish there was a Gyarados somewhere in there to connect it more with the entry.
This is a completely different region! I toiled over the decision to put that line in but it gives a sense of reality to the situation (its also a nice shout out to the games). Not only is my version of Pokemon "realistic" this adds another layer of the integration of Pokemon and People. Oh and I have a surprise in store. I don't want to say too much but there is a Slowpoke page in the concept stages. All I can say is: What happens to a lizard's tail when he "throws" it?
I am sure those would be wonderful dishes! That might be a great project btw!!!! "A Pokemon Cook Book" Imagine the possibilities. Though some would find it awkward, I imagine they would eb thinking that while eating a taco, or hamburger... The savages!
