I sure wouldn't want to eat a nidoran..all those poisonous barbs? Eep.

it won't really chew the nidoran. It'll probable just let if float in it's juices and digest it slowly.

I don't think it could avoid getting pricked by all of those barbs getting it in the bulb in the first place, though?

Victreebell are huge, almost human sized and they can be seen inhaling small prey about the size of nidorino

Without the spiny things touching a single one single area of their assumedly vulnerable innards? Seems farfetched even for pokemon.

it's filled with digestive juices. IT could just float inside like what happens to real life pitcher plant.

You don't float living, frantic, poison-spike-covered little rabbit monsters in pitcher plants. A fly that's all weighted down in plant juice, sure, but I have a hard time seeing a victreebell never getting pricked by it spiny prey it swallows whole.

Presumably it has tough insides to keep its own acid from eating at itself, so I would assume that it's tough enough that the Victreebel doesn't care about small pokes, especially from another poison type.

Actually, being part poison type, those barbs probably wouldn't bother a Victreebel at all. Toothpicks is right!

I have a carnivorous pitcher plant. Every time I see one, I think, A Victreebell!

The Bellsprout looks evil XD

This is one of the pages I want to re-draw! I love the look but I think I can improve the illustration so much!

You've probably already found out about this plant, but I just tripped on it while wandering about the internet and immediately thought of you!

OMG aren't the plants great?? I thought about a possible re-draw of Victreebel to make it more ... Real? But I'm not sure. I am currently working on Amoongus and would like to add a few details to some of the other Pokemon including a second Donphan page. We'll see.

Totally love the Weepinbell line. As in, next choice of plant Pokémon when I'm not using Chikorita as a starter in G/S/C and HG/SS. Hoppip line is awesome, too, but takes ages to train properly. Say, could you make an entry about the Hoppip line?

You're welcome! I think what happened is you labeled the second Torkaol pg. 21... so you labeled Sawsbuck 22... and then sort of corrected yourself. The Pokédex is amazing, though.

This is cool and it is good for grass type trainers. Personally I am a water type guy but I dabble in grass types and find Victorybell quite useful

My gf also uses water types and kills me... Ask me what type I use... Doesn't matter she always wins with her water Pokemon. LOL I have grown to dislike them.

Water type trainers are usually easy going and besides their fun to train!! Except Gyrados... that's just a pain in the ass but worth it in the end
